چکیده

Introduction: Changes in autonomic nervous system (ANS) balance associated with endovascular interventions may potentially cause haemodynamic abnormalities that lead to periprocedural cardiovascular complications. This study aimed determine the relationships between changes ANS and impedance cardiography (ICG) parameters after leg revascularization. Material methods: Before procedure, 1, 3 5h intervention, 5-min examinations of both ICG were performed using a Task Force Monitor 42 patients undergoing Results: When compared intermittent claudication, individuals chronic limb-threatening ischaemia had significantly shorter R-R interval lower stroke volume (SV) left ventricle ejection time (LVET) at beginning study. During revascularization, significant fluctuations noted following: heart rate, frequency-domain rate variability, baroreflex effectiveness indices, parameters, such as total peripheral resistance, SV, LVET, rate. The deltas correlated respective periods measurement. Conclusions: Dynamic occurred who undergone revascularization might affect risk occurrence event period. correlations suggest oscillations are mediated by activity, most probably through sympathoexcitatory effect procedure related skeletal muscle perfusion.

Impedance Cardiography *

Objective: To evaluate the following: (1) the intramethod variability of impedance cardiography (ICG) cardiac output (CO) measurements via the latest generation monitor and thermodilution CO measurements (CO-TDs); (2) the intermethod comparison of ICG CO and CO-TD; and (3) comparisons of the intergeneration ICG CO equation to CO-TD, using the latest ICG CO equation, the ZMARC (CO-ICG), and the ...

Estimating cardiac autonomic activity during sleep: impedance cardiography, spectral analysis, and Poincaré plots.

OBJECTIVE To compare noninvasive measures of cardiac autonomic activity during sleep. METHODS The absolute and normalized (n.u.) high and low frequency peaks from the spectral analysis of R-R intervals (HF, LF, HFn.u., LFn.u.), LF/HF ratio, pre-ejection period (PEP) from impedance cardiography, and the autocorrelation coefficient (rRR) as illustrated in Poincaré plots were measured during nig...

Impedance Cardiography Accurately

Objectives: After validation of impedance cardiography (ICG) in healthy children, this same device was tested in children with cystic fibrosis (CF) to validate its capability of measuring cardiac output (Q) in this population. Design: Comparative study of ICG vs the indirect Fick (C02) method. Setting: Tertiary care children's teaching hospital. Patients: Twenty-one CF children with mean FEVX o...

Impedance cardiography revisited.

UNLABELLED Previously reported comparisons between cardiac output (CO) results in patients with cardiac conditions measured by thoracic impedance cardiography (TIC) versus thermodilution (TD) reveal upper and lower limits of agreement with two standard deviations (2SD) of approximately +/-2.2 l min(-1), a 44% disparity between the two technologies. We show here that if the electrodes are placed...
